In recent days, we have received offers from more researchers to devise versions of LARSP (Language Assessment Remediation Screening Procedure). This has led us to consider a possible third collection of versions (either in book form, or as a journal special issue).
We would therefore like to invite readers to contact us if you are either interested in contributing a version yourself, or know of colleagues who might be so interested.
To remind readers, the first book, which is about to be published, has versions for the following languages: Hebrew, German, Dutch, Welsh, Bengali, Irish, Persian, Frisian, Chinese (Mandarin), French, Spanish, & Turkish.
The second book (due out 2013) covers Arabic, Russian, Finnish, Hungarian, Malay, Japanese, Norwegian, Korean, Afrikaans, Kannada, Hindi, Maori, Maltese, Portuguese, & Cantonese.
We have also recently had expressions of interest for Danish and Columbian Spanish.
We are especially interested in providing versions for Italian, languages in central and eastern Europe, African languages, and languages of south-east Asia.
